Wiggle - Day 1,860

We're in London again!  We are house-sitting while Toby's human's are on holiday in the South of France and when we arrived last night, Wiggle wasted no time in getting out on the balcony:

This morning we went over to Tooting Bec Common for our walk:

There were lots of interesting sniffs to be checked out:

Wiggle - Day 1,857

We didn't get much sleep last night as we had a loud storm overhead for a couple of hours, with BIG lightning and BIG thunder.  Wiggle and Sofy aren't scared of storms but the super loud thunder kept on making Wiggle jump, then when I got up to close the blinds, Sofy decided she'd wander around, eventually coming in and sleeping with Wiggle and me.

Fortunately for Wiggle and Sofy they've had a day of resting and catching up on sleep so they had plenty of energy for some playtime.

Sofy really, really wanted the toy that Wiggle had:

A short game of tuggy:

Then being a gentleman, Wiggle let go:

Sofy only wanted the toy because Wiggle had it, then she couldn't be bothered to boing around!

Wiggle - Day 1,855

After a cool start our day warmed up so this afternoon Wiggle and Sofy have been keeping cool by playing in their pool.

Repositioned and with fresh water, the toys were in and they were ready to play:

Wiggle had his eye on a ball that he'd partly shredded and had sunk:

Sofy was in the water while Wiggle got his ball:

Sofy wanted the Nylabone that had sunk so she had to dunk her head under the water:

A wet head meant shaking!

Wiggle didn't feel like getting right in the pool, while Sofy looked slightly bewildered:

She still wanted the Nylabone:

But jumped out...

...to go and woogle:

Wiggle was thinking about getting in....but was happy to dunk his head to get the toys:

Wiggle - Day 1,853

We were up and out early this morning so that Wiggle and Sofy could run in the field while it was still cool.

The grass is taller than Sofy:

Wiggle runs through the dewy grass as its the best way to keep cool:

Running through the grass means Wiggle gets covered in seeds:

Keeping cool in the tall, dewy grass:

Dewy damp, covered in grass seeds but happy to be able to run before its too hot:

Wiggle - Day 1,851

With our temperature getting up to 32 degC, Wiggle and Sofy have been enjoying their pool.

Sofy spends most time in the pool:

Wiggle likes to get in and get the toys:

And get back out again!

All the toys get taken out:

It's a joint effort, taking it in turns:

And making a splash!

Wiggle - Day 1,848

This morning we went in search of water - so headed for Morden Hall Park

Before long, all 3 were in the river:

Splashing around in the sunshine:

Sofy follows Toby who follows Wiggle:

Boys together:

 Running to me, happy Toby:

We walked around the park and then found a narrower river, quieter, so perfect for some ball games:

Toby stands on the riverbank, watching:

Wiggle gets out on the other side:

Sofy comes bounding out of the water, just before she shook herself next to me!

Nice and wet!

Watching me:

Sofy got the ball:

Enjoying the cool water on a hot day:

Toby enjoyed a rest in the shade:

Soggy in the sunshine:

This afternoon I decided we should all have a treat so I went out and got us frozen yoghurt.  Chocolate for me, coconut iced yoghurt with strawberries for Wiggle, Sofy and Toby:

Sofy decided it was very good:

Wiggle particularly liked the strawberry pieces:

Toby enjoyed the iced treat too:

This evening we'll be going home but we are back again in 2 weeks to house-sit while Toby's humans are on their holidays.  We can't wait!
