Wiggle - Day 1,005

I was home today so we've all had a relaxing day, pottering around. After their morning walk, Wiggle and Sofy enjoyed some sunbathing out on the patio but when they came back in, Sofy took the Nylabone to bed with her, but then it seemed like she had forgotten what to do next:











She lay for a while like that, Nylabone in between her paws, until she fell asleep!

This afternoon, we walked in the fields, which meant lots of sniffinf:










Sofy was more alert than earlier:

Wiggle - Day 1,004

Wiggle and Sofy have been having a relaxing Sunday. We woke up to a cold but sunny day so after breakfast, went across the field for a walk.

While I sat outside with a coffee, Wiggle found his Nylabone and lay down for a chew:























Not sure what was going through Sofy's mind.....













Thinking over, Sofy sat and sniffed the air insteas:













It's still sunny so once their dinner's have gone down, Wiggle and Sofy will go for a stroll in the last of the sunshine for the day

Wiggle - Day 1,003

Wiggle and Sofy have walked into town today. I needed to do a few things, and as its such a lovely, sunny day here, we walked and left the car at home. Thankfully, they are as home walking on lead on the footpaths with traffic going past as they are running free in the fields!

Once my errands were done, we stopped by the river so that Wiggle and Sofy could have a paddle. Sofy was first, enjoying splashing around:











Wiggle was making a splash too:











Wiggle was back on dry land while Sofy found a stick in the river and had a chew.....











Splashing over, we sat outside a cafe while I had a coffee and Wiggle and Sofy watched the world go by before it was time to walk home again....

Wiggle - Day 1,002

Wiggle and Sofy have been doing BIG running! I'd been home today so after a rainy walk this morning, once the weather had brightened, we went to the Downs this afternoon.

As always, Wiggle was ready to run:













And started by running ahead for the ball:

Lolling tongue, Sofy was starting to get tired. Wiggle wasn't!










But Wiggle did have a nice blob of slobber on his head:

Wiggle and Sofy had a run around in the field earlier, just before it got dark. Wiggle was doing his own thing, soon becoming a dot in the distance!

And after lots of running and sniffing, back home to share the sofa:

One Thousand Days of Wiggle!


First, back to Day 1 - the photo that has melted so many hearts:













The skinny, baldy, itchy boy:









Who just wanted to be loved:













Wiggle was given up after years of neglect, taken in by Labrador Rescue South East & Central where he would get the veterinary care he needed so desperately:










Despite his previous owners saying Wiggle didn't like toys, he knew different:










He wanted to live his life to the full!













And after months of having baths, special medication, he's a happy, healthy boy:













Wiggle loves life!













And is, in my opinion, the most handsome boy in the world!

Wiggle - Day 998

As I was at work today, we walked bright and early this morning, going to the field so Wiggle and Sofy could have a good run around.

This evening, it was light enough still to go to the field again so Wiggle and Sofy got to spend some quality time, sniffing:










After some running, sniffing, ignoring me and then walking home again, Wiggle is relaxed in his bed:








While Sofy is for some reason, choosing to sit with her back to me.....
