Wiggle - Day 877

Today has been a Good Food Day for Wiggle and Sofy. Breakfast was the usual kibble but as a special treat, I made them each a little lunchtime sandwich.

Needless to say, they showed just how good they are at sitting when they realised that the sandwiches were for them!

After they'd eaten and had a little nap, I got into Wiggle's bed with him for a cuddle

Being in a silly, wiggly mood, we ended up having a litle wrestle which Sofy joined in. Sofy starts off quite normally but then gets more and more silly, especially if I blow raspberries at her!

After lots of sillyness, a slightly worn out Sofy can't help but flop.....

Wiggle - Day 876

Another day of wind and horizontal rain. We went to bed (all 3 of us on my bed) listening to the howling wind and this morning, the rain was still lashing down.

Not wanting us to all get soaked, I got dressed in all my waterproofs and thought Wiggle and Sofy should wear their coats too, just so they didn't get soaked through.

Needless to say, Wiggle and Sofy were Not Very Happy ............

Wiggle - Day 875

As I type, the rain is lashing against the front door, the wind is smacking against the house. We got wet on our morning walk and again during our evening walk, either walking into the wind or being blown along!

Wiggle and Sofy have the best idea for an evening of wet & wild weather........

Wiggle - Day 874

This morning we woke to a very cold, frosty morning which was slightly better than to the wind and rain of the last few days. As walks had been a little boring, we took our morning walk across to the field:

After all that cool, fresh air, next item on the agenda for Wiggle and Sofy was breakfast, followed by a little nap on the sofa:

Wiggle - Day 873

Not much to report from Wiggle's world. Last night Sofy crept on to my bed and a few minutes later, Wiggle also appeared. I think that between them, they had planned their bed-napping as Sofy took her position on one side of the bed and was unusually quiet, probably to give a signal to Wiggle that there was an exception to the usual 'no dogs on the bed' rule.

Not one to miss an opportunity, Wiggle was on the bed, laying on the other side from Sofy. Between the two of them, they had me trapped; pinned under the duvet, unable to move or move them! So, as it was a chlly night and it was soon warm and toasty with my sleeping companions, we all ended up falling asleep together....

Wiggle - Day 872

A pretty average day really for Wiggle and Sofy. We got blown along during our morning walk and soaking wet as the rain was horizontal!

This evening we stayed dry, although cold but once we were home again, Sofy decided to 'attack' me - climbing all over me, trying to lick me, shoving her nose right into my face and wriggling and being silly:

I asked Wiggle to help me, but he just sat there, staying out of Sofy's way......

Wiggle - Day 871

Wee Strike is over! This morning, the battle of wills came to an end - I was victorious! Wiggle gave in to his need to wee and has pee'd on the patio!

Anyway. Not so sunny today, but dry and quite bright. We went across town to the river for a walk, keen to go somewhere different from the fields across from where we live.

Sofy went straight into the undergrowth, after something, but came out empty mouthed:

Wiggle ran off with his tennis ball:

Crossing the little bridge:

Muddy puddles:

Sofy, looking like she's up to no good:

Wiggle goes off ahead, doing his own thing:

Here he comes!

Wiggle was pootling about, in his own little world. Still carrying his tennis ball!

Splashing in the river:

Once we were home, the full extent of the smell coming from Wiggle and Sofy was apparent, which meant one thing: bath!! Sofy looked sulky, drying off wearing a fleece:

Wiggle went to bed to do his sulking:
