Wiggle - Day 814

Today we stayed closer to home and went for a walk in town, along the cycle path that follows the river.

Sofy wanted to go and get wet:











Wiggle joined Sofy by the river and wanted me to throw the ball:













But Sofy ran off with the ball!

































As soon as Wiggle got the ball, he was on dry land and running off into the distance:

This evening we went up to the Downs and it was really noticable that the light is fading earlier. By the time we left, just before 8pm, the sun was already setting!

Wiggle and Sofy still enjoyed themselves though

It's not long to go until the Dogs Party - Labrador Central South East & Central's fundraising day and get together for all the helpers and families who have adopted dogs.

Two years ago Wiggle was Dog of the Year and as there was no party last year, he'll be passing on his trophy to the next winner.

This year the party is on Sunday 19th September at a new venue: Dogs Trust, Harefield, Middlesex, UB9 6JW

We'll be looking after the Information stand, so Wiggle and Sofy are going to be busy meeting and greeting!

Wiggle - Day 809

This afternoon it started raining and its been raining ever since. We gave up waiting for the rain to pass and went out, all dressed in our waterproofs.

Wiggle was not particularly happy though:

Today we were at Brinkworth Show. The weather was not good to start and we were glad of the side panels on our new gazebo!










Wiggle amused himself by shredding the remains of Pink Flamingo:










While Sofy sat in my chair. As my ankle has been hurting a lot still, I had to ask Sofy to move so I could sit down. She wasn't happy and spent a lot of time shouting!

Wiggle - Day 807

We've had another sunny day here and as I wanted to go to my parents, I took Wiggle and Sofy too and on the way we stopped at Jubilee Lake for a walk.

First we made the most of the empty playing field and glad to be over his lead-walk rest time, Wiggle ran ahead for the ball:
