Wiggle - Day 1,785

Tweet-Up with Lucyyellowlab, part 1

Today we met up with Lucy the Yellow Lab and her humans. We met at Caen Hill Locks in Devizes and started out with coffee and snacks.  Sofy was interested in the food on the table:

Wiggle was also keen to see if any food was coming his way:

We saw a family of swans (and there's a story there, but thats for another day!):

Wiggle - 1,784

Wiggle and Sofy are mostly relaxing, enjoying some sunshine between the showers.

Tomorrow we're meeting up with friends who are visiting the area for a walk so Wiggle and Sofy are making sure they are rested...

Wiggle - Day 1,781

Yesterday afternoon Wiggle had another session with the physio and while to keep Sofy busy, she had toys to play with.  As you can see from the stuffing, poor Armadillo came off worst:

Sofy: "He was a very BAD Armadillo, so I shredded him & made him bleed stuffing!":

Wiggle was very good and seemed to enjoy is session, with electrotherapy as well as massage.  Amy, the physiotherapist, said that Wiggle's lameness is less pronounced and that I can carry on with his massage and we'll see her again soon.

Wiggle was very keen to do some shredding of his own and took a toy outside:

Wiggle - Day 1,779

Today we've had beautiful weather (unusual for an English Bank Holiday!) and this morning we all went over to Richmond Park for our walk.

 

All four dogs wasted no time in getting in the water:

 

 

Toby was very happy to find a big stick:

 

Wiggle still isn't allowed lots of running, so he spent a lot of the walk on-lead:

 

Beenz pootled along, having got nice and muddy:

The river was the popular place to be!

 

Once we walked, we headed to the café for brunch.  Wiggle and Sofy were happy to wait patiently until it was their share:

 

Back at the house this afternoon, Wiggle and Sofy were out on the balcony:

 

Wiggle got bored but Sofy was enjoying the evening sun:

Wiggle - Day 1,778

Yesterday we arrived in London and Wiggle and Sofy wasted no time in going out on the balcony:

 

This morning, Sofy was enjoying the lovely, sunny start to the day:

 

We took all the dogs to Tooting Common - Beenz was very perky, which was lovely as he's been slowing down a lot recently:

 

Wiggle was allowed a little off-lead time:

Today we were up and out early, enjoying the morning sunshine:

While Wiggle was walking towards the sun, Sofy was behind, walking herself:

Once we were home again and they'd had their breakfast, Wiggle and Sofy spent some time outside, making the most of the beautiful morning, before I had to go to work:

Tomorrow we are going to London to spend the weekend with Mindy & Paul and Toby & Beenz so we'll be reporting from the city!

Wiggle - Day 1,774

This evening Wiggle went to the vets for a follow-up visit.  He was blurry with excitement for treats!

After a check up and advice to continue with lead walks and the physio, Wiggle was back for more treats on his way out:
