Wiggle - Day 903

Wiggle and Sofy have been relaxing on the sofa, offering no help at all while I made a start on the Christmas cards.

They've also been no help while I get cards and things together for our visit to the Collarways Christmas Open Day at the weekend.

On Saturday I'll be having a little fundraising table down at Collarways, so if you're in the area, drop in! Details here: http://www.collarways.co.uk/pages/visiting-collarways/4173

Wiggle - Day 902

No blog yesterday unfortunatey as Wiggle was far too busy sulking - I had been to the Bath Christmas Markets with my mum and left Wiggle and Sofy here. No doubt Wiggle was remembering when I took him last year and he got to snack on nommy hotdogs!

And to add to Wiggle's reasons for sulking, tonight Sofy went out in the car, leaving Wiggle here at home! It was only to the vets though for her vaccination booster and annual checkup.

Sofy was given her booster injection and the vet said she is in very good health, so thats great!

Wiggle - Day 900

Oh my goodness! I was looking for a photo earlier, going through the drives on my laptop and scrolling back through June 2008, found this one:

Still can't believe that's the same dog that right now is snoring softly from the comfort of his bed......

Wiggle - Day 899

Wiggle and Sofy enjoyed watching me eat my breakfast this morning. I don't usually have cooked breakfast but being the weekend, we had a treat which of course meant that Wiggle and Sofy had bacon and eggs too.

However, they insisted on watching me while I was eating, showing their impatience!

Wiggle changed his approach and pretended not to be watching me, but focusing on something far more interesting. Shame he didn't think to hide the drool hanging from his mouth!

The extra breakfast wasn't the only treat for Wiggle and Sofy - they both opened today's window in the Advent calendar:

Wiggle - Day 897

To say it was chilly this evening would be an understatement - it was flipping freezing!!! A good few hours though, doing our fundraising for Labrador Rescue:

I got to see the reindeer:

Meanwhile, Allan seemed to really be enjoying himself!

Wiggle - Day 896

Last night I was sorting out the Christmas decorations for our stall at the Wootton Bassett Lights Switch-On. Wiggle, always interested in what I was doing, thought he would "help" and had a good snuffle through the decorations and bits and pieces.

Being the cruel person that I am, I couldn't resist the opportunity to dress up Wiggle and Sofy and being the daft pair that they are, they didn't seem to mind!

I woke up in the early hours of this morning and found that we'd had snow!! More than at the weekend - the snow was still falling and when we got up to go for our walk, there had been a good couple of inches of snow.

Despite the sub-zero temperature, we went across to the field for our morning walk.....

One way to keep warm - go bonkers and run around!

Leads back on, ready to leave the snowy field and go home:

By the time I had to leave for work, the snow was falling again but thankfully the main roads were fairly clear. Unlike the driveway into work:

The golf course was closed due to the snow but the deer didn't seem to mind!

!

I got home from work early and Wiggle and Sofy have had some more play time in the field - lots of running around!

Wiggle - Day 895

Only a couple of days to go until the Wootton Bassett fundraising event when we will be in the High Street for the Christmas Lights Switch-On. The weather here is freezing so we're hoping there's a good turnout and we aren't left out in the cold for no reason!

I've decided to leave Wiggle and Sofy at home as I don't think they will have much fun. It will be cold and being evening time, there's not going to be a lot for them to do apart from stand around so rather than having to worry, Wiggle and Sofy will stay home and guard the sofa. It does mean that they won't get to see Santa and the Reindeer, but I'll take photo's for them!
