Wiggle - Day 872

A pretty average day really for Wiggle and Sofy. We got blown along during our morning walk and soaking wet as the rain was horizontal!

This evening we stayed dry, although cold but once we were home again, Sofy decided to 'attack' me - climbing all over me, trying to lick me, shoving her nose right into my face and wriggling and being silly:

I asked Wiggle to help me, but he just sat there, staying out of Sofy's way......

Wiggle - Day 871

Wee Strike is over! This morning, the battle of wills came to an end - I was victorious! Wiggle gave in to his need to wee and has pee'd on the patio!

Anyway. Not so sunny today, but dry and quite bright. We went across town to the river for a walk, keen to go somewhere different from the fields across from where we live.

Sofy went straight into the undergrowth, after something, but came out empty mouthed:

Wiggle ran off with his tennis ball:

Crossing the little bridge:

Muddy puddles:

Sofy, looking like she's up to no good:

Wiggle goes off ahead, doing his own thing:

Here he comes!

Wiggle was pootling about, in his own little world. Still carrying his tennis ball!

Splashing in the river:

Once we were home, the full extent of the smell coming from Wiggle and Sofy was apparent, which meant one thing: bath!! Sofy looked sulky, drying off wearing a fleece:

Wiggle went to bed to do his sulking:

Wiggle - Day 870

We managed to get some sunshine today so took ourselves up to the Downs.

Wiggle was looking especially handsome:

While Sofy was looking just as dim as usual!

Blending in with the autumn colours:

Kicking up leaves:

Sofy.....

Serious face:

Wiggle disappears into the distance, a little black blob below the tall trees!

Sofy, alert and waiting for a treat:

Wiggle - Day 869

I've had a day off today to get a few things done so Wiggle and Sofy have had to take an interest in what I've been doing.

First off there was the excitement of my parents arriving, so Wiggle in particular was wanting lots of fuss. Sofy, meanwhile, was being a show off and playing to her new audience.

I had hoped that we'd go for a nice walk somewhere but the rain that started as drizzle got worse, so we stuck to local walks. Still lots of bright autumn colours though:

And soggy walks mean rub-downs after:

Wee-Strike continues, despite the pleading little faces from the patio......

Wiggle - Day 865

We are now on Day 2 of Wee Strike. Despite going for hours and hours without a wee, neither Wiggle nor Sofy would wee out on the patio. Even though Wiggle will quite happily walk along the pavement, pee up a lamp post, he will not pee on the patio, at the side of the patio or even the otherside, behind the bushes!

No doubt Wee Strike will continue, so in the meantime we've been across to the field this evening for some running around. Of course now that the clocks have changed, we have no chance to get out in the evening before dark, so Puplights are now essential for our walks:
