Wiggle - Day 780

After our busy day yesterday, we've nearly caught up with ourselves and of course Wiggle and Sofy have had all day to catch up on sleep!

Now I've had time, here are our photo's from our great day out yesterday at the Nadder Valley Show.

As well as the usual dog classes, the show had vintage airplanes flying overhead:

Our stall is under green canvas in the bottom right corner!

Wiggle and Sofy have a little break from the stall:

Since the demise of our own gazebo last week, we are without our own shelter so Sam & Mark from Dogstar very kindly brought their double sized gazebo so we could share with them.

Our friend Linzi was also at the show, with her gorgeous choccie girls - Lucy, Polly and extra special Zoe. They were all promoting puppy farm awareness and where not to obtain a puppy, a very important issue and one close to my own heart.

Sofy and Wiggle "backstage" :

Lots of barking, socialising greeting & treat eating eventually caught up with Sofy!

Wiggle does his best "Hello, welcome to our Labrador Rescue stall"

We really did have a fab day and would like to say a huge thank you to Helen, Tom & the rest of the team who put together a great day, thank you to Sam & Mark at Dogstar for letting us share their shelter and of course thank everyone who came along to support us!

Wiggle - Day 778

Sofy had mail today, a card of her own!

I have to confess though, she was rather more excited about the chewy snack that was in the card!

Thank you Melissa and family.

Wiggle - Day 776

We're going to be going to the Nadder Valley Fun Dog Show on Sunday, http://nvfds.weebly.com/ - click on the link - Wiggle appears on the poster!

Tomorrow, Sam and Mark from Dogstar Foundation ( http://www.dogstarfoundation.com/ ) are coming to stay as we are all going to the show. Fortunately Sam and Mark have a super sized gazebo as my one broke at the Stourhead Show so we'd have a Lab Rescue stall exposed to the weather!

I was hoping to get a replacement gazebo by the weekend but I've been searching around to try and find a more robust one but that's not expensive, however this is proving to be a difficult search. Fiona is coming along and bringing some new Lab merchandise so we should have lots of lovely Labbie things to sell and raise money.

Wiggle - Day 775

This week, Wiggle and Sofy have had a special treat - cocktail sausages. On offer in the supermarket.

Mini sossijes are a favourite snack for Wiggle and Sofy. Wiggle show's just how much he likes them:

Wiggle - Day 773

Since the weekend, Wiggle has been limping a little, not too much but probably just from overdoing the running and chasing. We'd walked at Maude Heath on Saturday where Wiggle did a lot of running and leaping for the ball.

This evening, when we went for our walk, I didn't take a ball as I wanted Wiggle to have a more leisurely walk...... but Wiggle had other idea's!

Not content to just pootle about, Wiggle found himself a tennis ball. He's such a good retriever!

Wiggle - Day 772

We've had an early start today as we had a fundraising stall at Stourhead Show.

As usual, Wiggle was ready to meet and greet:

Our stall:

As well as dog show classes, there was a horse show going on, all in the grounds of Stourhead House:

We're sort of in the middle!

The Foxhounds:

Wiggle spent some quality time with his Flamingo but it would seem that Flamingo had been VERY bad so Wiggle destuffed him:

When he wasn't destuffing toys, Wiggle watched horses going past and after having watched from a distance, he was very excited when a friend of mine came over to see us on her horse Jasper!
