Wiggle - Day 749
Sofy was very busy this evening - watching and waiting for the pool to fill up:

Wiggle - Day 748
Wiggle loves sossijes. They're one of his favourite snacks. Especially the little cooked cocktail sossijes. When I went to the supermarket yesterday, I treated Wiggle and Sofy to some sossijes.
In order to be fed his tasty treat, Wiggle uses his best, sad faced stare:

Although the drool isn't quite so attractive!

Sofy gives me the pleading look too:

Needless to say, those sad little faces had the desired effect and the sossijes were shared out.....

Wiggle - Day 746
This evening, Sofy was walking herself again, carrying her own lead:

Clearly she's decided that this is Very Serious Work and wasn't even distracted when she saw two cats down the road - she saw them, had a moment of thought, looked at me and decided to carry on walking, holding on to her lead:

(I should point out, as yet, Sofy isn't clever enough to fold her lead up, I do that for her).
Once we got to the main road, I took the lead back, just to be on the safe side and then we crossed over and went to the field.

Playtime in the long grass:

Wiggle - Day 745
This evening Wiggle was in a chewing kind of mood. And he wanted to chew his small Nylabone, even though it was on the garden table:

After standing and thinking for a few moments, Wiggle decided that if he got close and stretched, he could just about reach the bone:

Got it!

Bone caught - time for some serious chewing.....

Until a split second of carelessness and Sofy gets the bone!

Wiggle didn't mind though as his attention had turned to his blue bone - current favourite for shredding:

Sofy has been a very good girl today. She carried her own lead when we walked to the field this morning. Whenever its time to put leads on, Sofy gets very wriggly and excited and carries her own lead. So this morning, I let her carry on and she walked herself!

Wiggle - Day 744

Happy Fourth of July to all our American Readers! And of course Wiggle would like to spend special July 4th wishes to his girl Lucy the Lab.
We've all had a nice relaxing day. Wiggle and Sofy did some sunbathing this morning after their walk:
After I'd been out, Wiggle spent some more time playing with his tennis ball, rolling one way:
Rolling the other.....
All that rolling can be very tiring though:
Sofy hadn't really shown much enthusiasm at all and preferred to have a lazy Sunday:

Wiggle - Day 743
I think Wiggle and Sofy are enjoying their weekend so far.
They started out by doing some sunbathing after breakfast:

Then, while the bed covers were being washed, Wiggle decided he should guard the cushion pad, just to make sure that didn't go in the washing machine!

Next up on their agenda was a trip out to Bradford on Avon. Sofy didn't waste any time and was straight in the water:

As there were a lot of people having picnics along the riverbank, I decided it was safest all round to not spend long by the river, just to avoid any accidental snacking incidents....
We walked on, Wiggle taking the lead:

Sofy follows Wiggle:

Quick rest, next to the river:

Wiggle takes the Riverside Walk:

Through to the field and Wiggle & Sofy were ready to play:

Bench-stop:

After the near-drowning experience last time we walked along this stretch of the river, Wiggle and Sofy were back on lead, just to be on the safe side!

We spotted a heron on the other side of the river:

Sofy and Wiggle take in the view - the water over the weir:

We'd reached the pub, so stopped for a cold drink for me and some food watching for Wiggle and Sofy, who found the people at the next table eating their lunch was particularly entertaining!
Rest over, we walked back along the canal path:

Wiggle - Day 742
Wiggle is speaking to Sofy again, after the little incident earlier in the week. However Sofy is now not talking to me....
I was trimming her nails, just taking off a little at a time but Sofy wriggled, just at the exact moment that I snipped and I ended up cutting too far up the nail. Sofy yelped, the nail bled and she has been sulking since.
Wiggle decided to keep his paws safely out of my reach and took to his bed this evening:

While Sofy was keeping me in her sights, no doubt to make sure I didn't go near her with the nailclippers again....
