These days, there isn't so much to report from Wiggle's World. He's showing his age and slowing down, taking life at a slower pace.
Wiggle is 12 and a half now and it shows. He can't run like he used to and his sight is growing less acute, as is his hearing. He still loves to swim and enjoys his weekly sessions but can't do the big running that he used to enjoy.
Now that the evenings are getting longer, Wiggle enjoys going to the field so we drive there rather than walk - that way he doesn't use up all his energy getting there.
Wiggle still loves his fuss and cuddles and every day, I still tell him how much I love him. The sad, heart breaking reality is that he won't be with me forever but rather than feel sad, I cherish every day that my Wiggle is here.

I'm sure wiggle has lots of happy walks to look forward to. Speed isn't everything.... I'm nearly 7 and don't do everything at breakneck speed any more! Besides, black labs look so distinguished with their grey whiskers....
We will come to black Dog halt one day... Hope you will be there!
Thanks for the update. I was starting to fear the worst.
Like all our friends, Wiggle will go on another journey.
*soft paw* He gets handsomer by the day. Wishing you a long and healthy life, my friend
