New Year's Eve Wiggle!

I've been off today so Wiggle and Sofy have been out walking and came with me while I took care of a few errands. We've had a dreary day here so I didn't take the camera but Wiggle and Sofy were being particularly attentive while I ate my lunch!












While other parts of the world have already welcomed in 2011, its still a few hours to go here but I shall end this entry by wishing all of Wiggle's readers and followers a very Happy New Year.

Wiggle - Day 924

Wiggle has been playing with his Christmas gifts this evening. First off it was the squeaky bone:










Then he decided that he needed to throw his "tough" bone around (allegedly very difficult to shred!).












Sofy came to see what he was doing, giving the squeaky bone a half-hearted chew:










Sofy wasn't in the mood for playing, instead decided to sit and watch Wiggle:













Wiggle couldn't decide which toy to play with, so gave them each a turn:













Sofy just lay there while Wiggle chewed......

Wiggle - Day 923

I've been back at work today so its been morning, lunchtime and evening walks for Wiggle and Sofy. Despite the foggy, damp evening, they still had fun, running around the field, sniffing out the interesting smells.

Back home, Wiggle was in bed, catching up on his sleep:












Sofy was also relaxing - resting after having found a big muddy puddle in the field to splash in!

Wiggle - Day 922

A damp and misty start to our day, after a rainy night. Seems like weeks since rain, not that we're complaining!

We needed to go and do some shopping so on the way, stopped at Maude Heath for a walk:

Mucky Labs have been cleaned up and are now snoozing....

Wiggle - Day 921

We're home again now after a really lovely Christmas in London. Before we left today, we all went for a walk in Nonsuch Park where there was still some snow on the ground:











We were being watched when we stopped for coffee:












The robin wasn't the only one watching us!











Back at the house, we had an audience while brunch was being prepared:













Sadly our little break had to come to an end and we came home this afternoon. While I was sorting out our things there was a knock at the door - my neighbour with a parcel he'd taken in for me. Apparently the post man had tried to deliver the parcel on Christmas Eve but by then we were in London.

Thankfully, the parcel was absolutely fine still - some lovely flowers!





















However, I have no idea who they are from! So, if the sender of the flowers reads this blog, thank you, it was very kind of you!

Wiggle - Day 920

After a lazy start to our Boxing Day, which included sleeping in late, with Wiggle and Sofy sharing my bed, we went over to Richmond Park for our walk.










Sofy was feeling particularly agile, jumping over a big log!

When we were walking back towards the car, Toby started barking - he'd found a stag!











While Mindy and Paul held onto the dogs, I got some closer photos.































I've often seen deer while out walking at different times, but never a stag, so I was particularly excited!

Merry Christmas!

We are having the most wonderful Christmas Day!

After breakfast for the humans (with a little leftover for the dogs!) we went to Wimbledon Common for a walk.

After our walk, it was back to our "London home" for presents!

Wiggle - Day 918

Wiggle and Sofy started their morning by checking out the view from our bedroom balcony:










After breakfast, we all went up to Wandsworth Common for a walk - Wiggle walking with Paul:











There were lots of dogs on the Common to meet and play with, Wiggle and Sofy went to say hello:










Wiggle stole a tennis ball from another dog (oops!!) so of course, when the ball was about to be thrown, Wiggle was ahead:










Once we were home again and the dogs were all settled, Mindy and I headed in to the city via some window shopping on the Kings Road. After a mulled wine, we had a fun hour skating at the outdoor rink at the natural History Museum!










After a lovely day for everyone, we're planning a quiet evening as with 4 Labs in the one house, we're sure to have a fun day tomorrow!

Wiggle - Day 917

We are in London! After calling in at my parents to exchange Christmas gifts, we were on our way to the capital.

Sofy was relaxing:

The dogs have all had their dinnner and are now all sleeping, worn out from catching up with each other.
