We've had a busy day, what with me getting up early to collect the parents from the airport and then going to work for a few hours. The boys have had shorter walks today as Wiggle was still a bit tired from yesterday's adventure and Sir H can't be bothered.
I'd been upstairs and came down to find evidence of what Wiggle had been up to:
After looking outside, Wiggle was still happily shredding the ball...
Sir H was so unimpressed that he couldn't even look!

Wiggle - Day 346
We've been across the fields this afternoon looking for the river. Sir H stayed at home as he'd already been out earlier and didn't show any signs of wanting to come out!
It's daft really as I've lived here for 10 years but never knew there was a river there, nor found it! But I found out why - calling it a river is a bit of an exaggeration as its more like a stream.
We started our little adventure by going across to say hello to the sheep and lambs that live in the field across the road:
Then made our way across the fields:
Wiggle stopped for a moment, looking handsome amongst the buttercups
As we took a different route to normal, there were plenty of new smells for Wiggle to check out:
After making our way through along the edge of the field and through the trees, we found the water, so Wiggle was straight in!
He found a stick and enjoyed splashing around with that for a while
Of course having found the stumpy stick, he had to run around with it for a while!
Back on dry land, Wiggle led the way through the grass
A quick stop....
My handsome boy
More interesting smells!
Wiggle has had a bath since coming home and is now fast asleep in his bed. We had a lovely walk and days like today remind me how lovely it is here, with great countryside just on our doorstep.

Wiggle - Day 345
As we've had such a lovely, sunny day here, we did our walks first thing this morning and then again in the evening once it had cooled down a little.
Wiggle had fun playing Hoopie and wore himself out. He's so tired he can barely muster any enthusiasm for his Kong Wubba, one of his favourite flingy toys!
The weekend looks set to continue with the good weather so I think I'll combine a walk with some water and keep Wiggle cool.

Wiggle - Day 344
Wiggle has been playing hoopie!
We've been across to the green for some playtime this morning and it seems like hoopie is just as good a game as fetching a ball:
Sir H looked like he was taking a rare interest in playing....
But no, he was just finding a nice patch of grass for a roll!
Meanwhile, Wiggle was still busy fetching hoopie
But then Wiggle seemed to lose the plot......
Ah well, at least he's happy!

Wiggle - Day 343
A bit of a damp day here but that didn't stop us going up to Maude Heath on the way back from going out to buy dog food.
Sir H found some interesting plants to sniff...
While Wiggle was of course running around with his ball!
We did manage to lose the ball but after 10 minutes searching, Wiggle found it - in the wrong area where I was looking! After all that searching, time to stop and have a quick rest:
Meanwhile, Sir H combined a glare with poking his tongue out. He's such a charmer!
Unlike Wiggle, who would never be so rude
One of Wiggle's Twitter friends, Teagan, mentions playing Hoopie. Hoopie is like a frisbee, so I've bought one for Wiggle and will report back soon whether he likes chasing that as much as a ball!

Wiggle - Day 341
The boys are worn out after their very busy but very good Bank Holiday weekend.
We started it off by going to London on Saturday to stay with Mindy, Paul and Toby & Beenz. Sir H stayed at their house as he didn't want to come for a walk in the evening sun on Wandsworth Common.
Wiggle and Toby had lots of fun though!
In the evening it was time for relaxation. Toby & Beenz have a sofa in their garden so Beenz and Wiggle had a rest...
Sunday morning was absolutely beautiful - clear blue skies and sunshine so we headed over to Richmond park. Sir H was skipping through the buttercups:
Then it was into the river for some splashing about
Toby was trying to find interesting things in the riverbed!
While Wiggle just wanted to chase the tennis ball
Sir H spent some quality time wallowing.....
.... and looking rather snooty! I suppose it's only right, being a Sir afterall
(After Sir H had wallowed, he found himself unable to get out so I got rather splattered in mud rescuing him!)
Wiggle was drying out in the sunshine, still running
Toby was enjoying himself too
Beenze preferred to potter around, and like Wiggle, snack on deer poo when we weren't looking!
Happy shiney Wiggle, with his ball:
Deer in Richmond Park:
Sir H, resting. On dry land, thankfully!
Wiggle, still with his ball, with Toby in the river, still trying to find interesting things....
After such a lovely day, we headed back to the house for brunch while the boys all had a rest. I went to work for a few hours last night and the dogwalker tells me that neither Wiggle nor Sir H were very lively last night!
Today they have yet another exciting trip out - this time to meet our friend Cheryl and her dogs, Ella and HenryNo (HenryNo used to be plain Henry but he has had moments of being a naughty puppy, so that's where the No comes in!)
Sir H found a nice, muddy ditch and had a lie down...
Wiggle and his AirKong toy. He does like a change from a tennis ball sometimes
Wiggle, Ella and Henry splashing about in the lake:
Wiggle, swimming to fetch his floating toy:
Sir H. Doesn't he look happy? No, I didn't think so either!
Ella and Henry do some mad running:
All 3 running around:
We really have had a lovely long weekend although wiggle and Sir H have hardly moved since getting home earlier!
