Wiggle - Day 1,865

As we'd had a long walk with lots of swimming yesterday, today we had a more gentle stroll at Tooting Bec Common:

Although we went at a slower pace, there was still time to play fetching games:

After our walk, Wiggle lounged around on a dog bed:

Toby was relaxing in the sung:

But Sofy couldn't decide what to do:

I left the dogs to relax while I went to Canary Wharf to visit the Museum of London Docklands and this evening after dinner, Wiggle and Sofy have been on neighbourhood watch duties:

Toby preferred to relax on the comfort of the sofa:

Today's blog entry is dedicated to a very special Lab and his family.

Sleep peacefully, lovely Vernon.  Our thoughts are with Kate, Graham and family xx

Wiggle - Day 1,864

Today we met up with our friend Dougal the Lab and his mum Louise for a walk at Wimbledon Common.  After the recent nice weather, today was cooler & wet, but no one seemed to mind:

Wiggle opted out of the group photo, wanting me to throw his ball instead:

Wiggle, Sofy & Dougal all sitting nicely:

Toby was busy running:

Dougal  and Wiggle:

Wiggle with his ball (just for a change!):

Soon we had made our way to the pond - so they all went in:

Sofy: "Ha ha, I got your ball!":

Toby stays in the shallow water while Dougal went in deeper:

Waiting to get the ball:

Sofy was ahead...

But it was Dougal who did the diving:

Soon Wiggle had his ball again:

After we walked on from the pond, all 4 wanted to get wet again:

After our fabbie walk, we stopped at the Windmill Café for coffee but no one wanted to look at me fo their photo:

Sofy climbed up on the table, but settle for a seat to finish my coffee.  She just wanted to be one of the girls!

Back home and starting to dry off, Toby was looking a little mucky:

Louise, with help from Dougal, runs The Black Dog Bakery and gave Wiggle, Sofy & Toby these lovely treats!  Thank you :)

Despite the weather, we had a lovely walk and Wiggle, Sofy and Toby are all worn out now...

Wiggle - Day 1,863

Wiggle and I have been sightseeing!  We've been on the bus, the underground and on a boat on the River Thames.

After a walk on Wandsworth Common this morning, Wiggle and I headed out, taking the bus to Sloane Square:

We then took the London Underground to Tower Hill, to go and see the Tower of London.  On the way, Wiggle got lots of attention and fuss from strangers as he sat with me, being the Good Boy that he is. Dogs aren't allowed in, but we could still look at the World Heritage Site:

We shared a cappuccino - the coffee for me, the froth for Wiggle:

Next on our itinerary was to catch the Thames Clipper from Tower Hill:

Sitting on the outer deck, watching the view as we travelled along the River Thames:

We had a better view of the Tower of London from the river!

Tower Bridge and HMS Belfast:

St Pauls Cathedral in the background
:

Taking in the sights:

The Shard:

We had a great view from the river!

Blackfriars Bridge:

We got off the Thames Clipper at Embankment and then hopped on the Underground to Westminster.  Wiggle is a Dog About Town!

The London Eye:

Wiggle at Big Ben:

The Houses of Parliament:

After wandering around, we headed back to the Underground station:

Happy Wiggle! We enjoyed our little outing!

Wiggle - Day 1,862

After heavy rain and thunderstorms last night, this morning we had sunshine and headed over to Morden Hall Park.  We'd been there two weeks ago and had such a good time that we were looking forward to going back.

Once in the park and off-lead, Sofy was swimming:

Wiggle and Toby were also in the water:

Splashing around:

Wiggle took his ball and ran around on dry land:

But was soon back in the river with Sofy:

Toby watches:

After fun in the river, we walked on through the park, with Wiggle leading the way:

Sofy and Toby were close by:

All three:

Chasing the ball, enjoying lots of space to run in the sun:

Sofy lets Wiggle bring the ball back:

Here he comes!

Toby joined in, chasing the ball and running back to me:

As we walked on, Toby found a big stick:

He trimmed to a suitable size to run with:

Doing boys stuff:

Quick rest, with Sofy choosing the bench:

Once we were back to the river, Sofy was swimming:

Concentrating on her doggy-paddle:

Toby was also enjoying his swimming:

Splashing around, catching the ball:

"Where did the ball go?"

Happy Labs:
