Wiggle - Day 1,622

Today Wiggle and I went out for the afternoon!  Wiggle was being very good, waiting patiently for the train to arrive to take us to Bath:

Once in Bath, we walked towards the Abbey, to visit the Christmas Market:

The Abbey:

Bath is famous for being a Roman city.  I don't think the Roman's made this plaque though!

The Abbey is so big that Wiggle is teeny in comparison:

We wandered around the market stalls, although Wiggle was looking for something in particular...

It wasn't the Christmas tree he was looking for, although that was very pretty:

Wiggle's nose was telling him we were getting closer...

Wiggle led me to the gourmet cheeseburger stall, so of course, I had to buy one to share.  Although with this cute stare, Wiggle had the bigger share!

We had a lovely afternoon, wandering around Bath.  Wiggle got lots of fuss and cuddles and one stall holder we visited gave him a biscuit!  I am so proud of my boy, he was so well behaved, sitting quietly at my feet when we were on the train and the station staff thought he was so cute, when the opened the ticket barrier for us, they said he was so lovely they wanted to keep him!

Sofy stayed home as she would have found it all too much, but she was happy with a big chewy stick.

Wiggle - Day 1,621

What with the dark mornings and dark nights, there's not been much to report from Wiggle's World, so he's been spending plenty of time relaxing on the sofa.

Relaxing is good though as tomorrow Wiggle and I are going out for the afternoon ....

Wiggle - Day 1,617

After what has seemed like endless days of rain, this afternoon we were able to have a walk where we didn't get soaked through!  Wiggle wanted to run so the Downs was just the place:

Yay for a dry afternoon!

Wiggle: "I'm watching the ball, throw the ball!"

Ball games:

Wiggle was enjoying being able to run free:

Sofy did some running but then decided to stay closer to me:

But Wiggle just wanted to run and run and run......

Wiggle - Day 1,614

We've had gale force winds and heavy rain over the last day or two and tonight, we couldn't avoid walking in more torrential rain.  And sadly for Wiggle and Sofy, torrential rain means Horrid Raincoats need to be worn.

Wiggle and Sofy do not like wearing their coats but as the rain wasn't going to ease up, we had no choice but to wrap up against the weather.

Horrid Raincoats = sad faces:

And for all our friends in America, we wish you a Happy Thanksgiving!

Wiggle - Day 1,610

This morning we had a slow start to our day so Wiggle lay on the sofa, enjoying the sun on his face:

Wiggle was more alert when we went out this afternoon:

Once he had his tennis ball, Wiggle was off and running along the old railway track:

Sofy was looking for birds:

Wiggle did wait for us, briefly, before running on ahead, kicking up the fallen leaves:

There's something in the woods!  We couldn't see them, but we could hear the pheasants and Sofy really, really wanted to find them:

Stopping to sniff things, Wiggle didn't let go of his tennis ball:

Not as sunny as the last time Wiggle and Sofy posed here but the backdrop was more wintery:

By the time we got back to "Wiggle's Halt" it was starting to get dark, hence the poor quality photo!

Wiggle - Day 1,609

Today we met up with Allan and Nathan and Wellington for a walk up at the Downs:

But there were only 2 tennis balls, so Wiggle came back with no ball:

All 3 running and having fun:

Wellington with his tennis ball:

Wiggle, cutest "throw the ball" stare:

Sofy was distracted while Wiggle and Wellington ran ahead:

Wiggle ran off in the distance, but looked back to see where we were:

Before long, Wiggle was running back to us....

But he kept running!

Sofy was watching some birds flying - and probably hoping she might catch one!  She does look cute though, all alert:

Back to more typical 'Silly Sofy' behaviour and a muddy puddle to splash in:

A slightly soggy Sofy:

While Wiggle was still running with his ball - because he loves running with his ball!

After all that fun, Wiggle and Sofy are now both fast asleep...

Wiggle - Day 1,606

When I was visiting LucytheLab and her mum in Seattle, Lucy sent me home with a big box of her favourite cookies for Wiggle and Sofy:

There are lots of shapes and flavours, so each day, Wiggle and Sofy have tried a different cookie.  Tonight it was a heard and a bear:

"Look at my lovely sit! Now do I get that nommy cookie?"

Sofy ate her cookie very quickly but was looking happy after!

Wiggle - Day 1,602

Now I'm back from my fabbie holiday visiting LucytheLab and her mom in Seattle, its back to normal stuff for Wiggle and Sofy.  Today we had a sunny morning so stopped off at Maude Heath after going out for dog food:

Wiggle got the ball but Sofy wasn't going to let him keep it!

Being a gentleman, Wiggle let go so Sofy could have the ball:

Waiting for the next throw:

This time Wiggle wasn't giving the ball up and ran off with it:

Sitting in the the grass in the sunshine:

Looking slightly soggy after lots of diving for the ball:
