Wiggle - Day 1,168

Wiggle has been celebrating WiggleWednesday with some woogling!

And after a post-dinner rest, we walked across the field, towards the sun, low in the sky even though it was only quarter to eight:

Wiggle - Day 1,167

Wiggle and Sofy have had a lazy day as I was back at work. They had a lot of fun this evening when we walked across the field and they met their friends Smudge and Daisy, so much fun that Wiggle jumped in their car to go home with them!

After a lot of running and playing, they were both worn out and plodded home, just wanting to relax once we'd got in....

Wiggle - Day 1,166

As its been the Bank Holiday today, Wiggle and Sofy have had me at home with hem today.

Wiggle wasn't looking particularly enthusiastic though, lounging after our morning walk:

Wiggle soon perked up when I found him a toy so he could entertain himself while I got on with doing other things:

Sofy was showing an interest in the toy....

But Wiggle didn't want her to have it!

Wiggle should have been taking more notice of Sofy, creeping up behind him:

And with one, quick pounce, Sofy had the toy:

Sofy boinged round for a while, then stopped for a quick chew:

Wiggle looked on....

Sad faced Wiggle: "She took my toy!"

Sofy's short attention span meant that it wasn't long before Wiggle had the toy again:

Celebrating with some woogling:

Once playtime was over and I'd done the things I'dwanted to, we settled down to watch a film, with a space left for me on the sofa!

Wiggle - Day 1,165

Since getting home yesterday, Wiggle and Sofy have mostly been catching up on their sleep after their busy week away.

This morning, we had some sunshine so Wiggle and Sofy were out in the garden, enjoying what ended up being a short spell of sun:

Shortly after, we had heavy rain, then torrential rain as well as thunder. We managed to get out again earlier this evening, with the dark clouds still looking ominous:

Wiggle didn't care about the threat of rain as he was too busy running around, catching up with the smells in his field:

Sofy was busy running around in the damp grass too:

Going in different directions:

Soggy-faced Sofy:

Dark clouds:

More like an autumn evening!

Wiggle - Day 1,163

Another rainy day here but that didn't stop the dogs all having fun when we walked on Wandsworth Common:

There was a lot of sniffing:

Sofy and Been watch a train go past:

Wiggle, running to catch us up:

We left the dogs here and went into town for a wander around Covent Garden, but now we're home, the dogs are trying to convince us that they should have an early dinner!

Tomorrow we go home, after a lovely week here in London....

Wiggle - Day 1,162

Our day started off with heavy rain so we all got rather wet when we went for our walk on Tooting Common. The weather didn't stop the dogs enjoying themselves, especially Wiggle and Sofy who both found stinky stuff to roll in!

As the rain was so heavy, no photo's of the dogs on their walk, so if you were hoping to see pictures of the dogs, click away now as after we'd left them back at the house, Mindy and I went to the London Eye!

By the time we got off the train at Waterloo Station, the rain had stopped so we got our tickets and boarded our capsule...

Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament:

We thoroughly enjoyed oursleves although I'm sure Wiggle would have liked to go on the Eye and look down on the city below!

Wiggle - Day 1,161

Our day started off with some drizzly rain so we had a lazy morning as Mindy had to go into work for a couple of hours, taking Toby and Beenz with her as usual, so Wiggle, Sofy and I walked on Wandsworth Common. We stopped for coffee on the way back where they enjoyed watching the world go by as I drank my latte!

At lunchtime, Mindy and the boys were back and we headed over to Bushy Park
(http://www.royalparks.gov.uk/Bushy-Park.aspx ) which is somewhere I'd not been to for years, although I did remember as I used to have family living nearby. The park is close to Hampton Court Palace, King Henry Eighth's palace.

After parking the car, we walked towards the Diana Fountain:

Once we were away from the road, the dogs were offlead for some running around:

Wiggle had gone off in the distance:

The dogs were all happy to find some water:

Sofy was being a swamp monster with pondweed on her head!

We stopped for lunch, with our 'audience' taking a keen interest....

Walking further along, lots of running around:

Group photo:

Further along the path, Wiggle was ahead, even though he didn't actually know where he was going!

More water!

Sofy did some swimming:

All 4 in the water:

We walked on some more, and found more water!

Sofy was just standing in the water, watching me:

All the dogs were making their own fun:

We saw deer:

And a heron:

Walking back towards the fountain:

As I type, we have 4 worn out, sleeping Labradors!
