Another day of wind and rain here. We managed to stay dry this morning and this afternoon, it was dry when we went out, although it didn't stay that way for long!
We didn't go far from home - just the other side of the hill from where we live! Years ago there used to be a railway going through the town but it was closed in the 60's after the infamous Beeching Report. Just up the road from us is Black Dog Halt which used to be part of the railway:

This is all that's left of the railway - how appropriate for Wiggle though!
The disused railway lines were all removed and there's now a cycle path in it's place. We walked for a while, stopping for a quick photo. We live on the other side of the hill!
Wiggle was keen to explore but Sofy stayed onlead
Despite having had a bath yesterday, Wiggle didn't care about getting nice and muddy!
Back the way we'd come and over the bridge across the main road:
By now, it was raining heavily - even the sheep and lambs were trying to shelter!
Soggy dogs:
We all got absolutely soaked but now dried off again and hoping for better weather tomorrow....

Black Dog Halt - what a perfect name for a black dog to "halt" at (does this mean Sofy didn't have to?) BOL!
Love, your best girl,
Lucy the Lab
Wiggle must be the only dog with a train station.
muddy dog = happy dog
at least the rain took care of that problem.
nice trails to walk around your place.
