Wiggle - Day 1,045

A sunny but windy day here so we had a breezey walk across the fields earlier. so although it was warm, it wasn't too hot for walking.

The sheep were in the higher field:

So Wiggle sat and watched them. Sofy pretended not to care about the cute little lamby's and sheeps:

Walking again:

Sofy was chewing on some grass while Wiggle was sniffing the air:

Wiggle - Day 1,044

It's been Royal Wedding day today so we had our walk nice and early to be home to watch the proceedings. I say "we" but I think that Wiggle wasn't really paying attention.....

Not much more interest from Wiggle as the bride emerged from her car:

And not even turning to look and see the dress!

More interest when brunch was ready - sossijes cut up for Wiggle and Sofy:

Back in his bed and Wiggle was pretending that he didn't want to see the Royal couple:

A bed-swap and Sofy wasn't looking excited about the wedding either - probably sulking as she doesn't have any posh frocks, only a horrid coat!

The much awaited kiss on the balcony and Sofy can barely keep herself awake

After all the wedding excitement was over we headed out for a nice long walk across the fields....

Wiggle - Day 1,043

Another sunny evening for us which was good for our walk across the fields. Wiggle did some BIG running but then found interesting smells so was a mere dot in the distance:

He soon ran to catch me up though!

Sofy particularly enjoyed herself when she found a dead mole to roll in! Thankfully, she's not too stinky now though but has been having very wriggy, twitchy dreams since she's been asleep....

Wiggle - Day 1,042

After a mostly overcast day, we had a sunny evening so it was a lovely walk in the fields. Wiggle was trying to ignore me so he went back on his long lead. Still able to stop and enjoy the sun though:

Wiggle was too busy listening to the cows moo'ing in the next field while Sofy wanted to be nearer me, probably to try and get another treat!

Wiggle - Day 1,041

After the long weekend it was back to work for me today so that meant a return to our usual weekday routine for Wiggle and Sofy. We had a good walk across the fields this evening and met a young Lab who wanted to play chasing games with Sofy - Wiggle was too busy chewing grass and doing his own thing.

It was lovely to watch Sofy running aroung, raar-raaring and play chase with the other dog, especially as there are some dogs that she still doesn't like.

Once we were home, they each had a chewy stick, Sofy taking hers to the nearest bed:

While Wiggle didn't move far and chewed where he was given his treat!

Wiggle - Day 1,040

After our morning walk, Wiggle and Sofy spent some time in the garden, either licking their breakast from their lips.... or poking their tongue's out at each other!

Wiggle gets a very full on 'kiss' from Sofy:

Laying together....

Sofy finds something amusing, wagging her tail as she goes to kiss Wiggle:

A little kiss on the nose:

Realisation that they are "brother and sister" makes them turn away, in a "pretend nothing happened....!" kind of way!

Wiggle - Day 1,039

Today the day started out cooler and cloudy so we walked to the shop to get a paper and then Wiggle and Sofy lounged around for most of their morning. I'd been invited to the parents for lunch, so Wiggle and Sofy stayed home but they were very pleased when I returned - with a roast dinner doggy bag for them!

This evening we took ourselves across to the fields, always enjoyable for Wiggle and Sofy

My usual view - Wiggle leading the way, followed by Sofy:

Sofy does her Good Girl Sit for a treat:

Not to miss out, Wiggle joined Sofy:

Wiggle - Day 1,038

Its been another hot and sunny day here so we had an early walk across the fields before it got too warm.

None of us felt like doing too much so Wiggle and Sofy have spent most of their day laying out in the garden, going between the sun and the shade of the Willow tree:

Wiggle was fast asleep!

Wiggle - Day 1,037

Its Good Friday and the first day of our long weekend. We've had sunshine all day so I got Wiggle's bedding in the wash so it could dry out on the line. Wiggle decided that he would still lay on the bed, just without its covers:

Looking quite forlorn.....

The plus side of bed washing was that in the depths of Wiggle's bed, he found the foot from a long-lost toy. Even a small amount of toy was good for chewing:

Once the bedding was dry and beds made again, Sofy was first, making the most of the deep, plumped up pillowyness......

Wiggle - Day 1,036

Today is like Friday for us, as Easter means a long weekend. We made the most of the sunny evening and walked across the fields, Wiggle leading the way:

Sofy stopped to chew grass:

Then Sofy found a hole to investigate:

Walking in the sun:

Running, offlead, being a Good Wiggle:

Wiggle is still running while Sofy does some more sniffing:

Then Wiggle slows down to sniff, chew grass, ignore me.....

Sitting in the sunshine:

The new lambs - the sheep across the road from our house have had their babies and we can hear the little lambs calling to their mums!

Wiggle - Day 1,035

Yesterday evening I went to the pub for a little get together with some work friends and Wiggle and Sofy came too.

Although there was food, Sofy was on her best behaviour:

Wiggle was enjoying the evening, having had lots of fuss and attention....

Wiggle - Day 1,033

After dinner this evening, Wiggle decided to sit out and sniff the air:

Sofy was just laying around:

We caught the last of the sun when we walked across the fields. Wiggle was being good so he was offlead for some running and sniffing, and sitting for a photo:

Only a few minutes walk from our doorstep, lovely countryside to walk in!
