Wiggle - Day 1,683

This evening Sofy went to the vets for her annual check up and booster.

Sofy was VERY excited to see the vet and literally pulled me in to reception and then launched herself at the counter, hoping she would get a treat:

(Sofy was so excited, she was all blurry!).

After a thorough examination, Sofy was pronounced fit and healthy and I'm very pleased that she has kept off the weight that she lost last year.

Sofy, on the other hand, looks less happy that she is still slim and claims that she isn't being fed enough...

Wiggle - Day 1,680

Today has been a day of wintery sunshine and showers and we timed our morning walk well, stopping at Maude Heath for some playtime in the sun.

Sofy was running with her eyes closed:

While Wiggle was happy to be running around with his ball:

Sofy, following interesting smells (probably towards cowpoopsnacks):

Although sunny, there was a cold wind blowing up on the hill so Wiggle did lots of running to keep warm:

Sofy got the ball on the next throw, so Wiggle could only follow behind:

"I'm ready for the next throw:"

Sofy didn't care that she had grass in her mouth:

Enjoying the sunshine and lots of space to run free:

Sofy was very boingy!

Sofy tried to snatch the ball from Wiggle, but he was too quick for her:

Sofy gave up trying to get the ball and went back to boinging:

Happy Wiggle!

Sofy, still boinging:

Sofy dropped the ball in the muddy puddle:

So Wiggle got the ball, and carried it back to the car:

Wiggle - Day 1,679

Even though it's Saturday, I had to work today but Wiggle and Sofy didn't seem to mind too much, especially when I came home with buffet leftovers for them.

With their kibble this afternoon, they enjoyed smoked salmon and smoked haddock fishcakes!

Shared out equally:

Wiggle followed his dinner with a chew on Sofy's minty Nylabone:

Wiggle - Day 1,677

Wiggle isn't getting any younger but he does love to run and to help keep his joints flexible, I give him supplements each day.

As a more mature dog, Wiggle sometimes can get a bit sore after an especially long walk or when he has done a lot of BIG running.  I always try and ensure that my dogs have the best diet and supplements to keep them fit and healthy, which for Wiggle includes joint supplements.

The nice people at VetVits have sent Wiggle some of their FlexiJoints supplements to test.  FlexiJoints contact 4 key ingredients to help maintain flexible joints and compared to other products available, they are really competitively priced.

We're grateful for the opportunity to try FelxiJoints and we'll report back in a few weeks!

Wiggle - Day 1,673

When we walked in the field this afternoon, Wiggle and Sofy made a nice discovery - an abandoned frisbee!

Sofy was very keen on chasing the frisbee:

She was flicking snow around with her new found toy:

Dusted with snow:

Chasing after the flying frisbee:

Wiggle was less interested, probably he would have preferred to find a tennis ball:

Sofy, pulling faces, because she can:

Chasing after the frisbee:

Sofy seemed to be enjoying getting covered in snow:

Wiggle makes a dive:

Sofy had got distracted so Wiggle was on his own, running after the frisbee:

So Wiggle, claiming the frisbee as his, tried to chew it:

"Ok, I won't chew it, but only if you thrown it":

His triumph was short lived, as on the next throw, it was Sofy who got the frisbee by diving head first into the snow:

More chasing:

Sofy was going to have to say goodbye to her new toy as we left it in the field so another dog could have fun in the snow:

Wiggle - Day 1,672

Our snow is still here so this morning, we had a white walk in the field.  Sofy had snow on her nose:

Ready to chase the ball:

Wiggle didn't have too much snow on him, despite running around:

Seems like the snow was helping Sofy look wide awake and alert:

Wiggle just wanted to play:

Running through the snow:

"Throw it again!"

Sofy crashed!

After a quick recover, Sofy was running back with the ball:
