Wiggle know's that something is going on.....
I'm going on holiday! Tomorrow I am flying to Seattle to visit Wiggle's girlfriend, Lucy the Lab and her mom Jana. Sadly Wigle won't be getting to meet the love of his life but Wiggle and I are now in London as Wiggle will be staying with Mindy and Paul and going to work with them and Toby and Beenz.
Sofy is staying with my parents and when we drove there earlier, Wiggle was riding shotgun:
Sofy is settling in, trying to convince my parents that I starve her and that she must be fed meaty snacks often:
Depending on the frequency of updates, there may or may not be many posts here on Wiggle's blog for the next week...

Wiggle and Sofy are now sulking. This afternoon I put up the temporary fence, to stop them turning the grass into a muddy swamp during the winter. Once I'd finished, they both came out to stand and stare at the grass they couldn't walk on:
Wiggle sniffed around:
While Sofy was still staring at the grass, Wiggle was looking for an escape route:
Sofy was deep in thought, maybe thinking back to last year - when she went on wee-strike for a month!

Today we went for a walk with Allan and Nathan and Wellington.
Across the field, Sofy decided to take a break, sitting down on the mud:
Wiggle was too busy for sitting:
Wellington, showing off his "biscuit please" stare:
Wiggle was still running, no time to sit still!

We woke up to a frosty, sunny morning and this afternoon, we still had sunshine so we went for a walk along the old railway track. As soon as we were over the bridge, Wiggle was running ahead:
Wiggle ran down the bank - and back up again!
And then he kept on running....
Due to her obsession with finding vile things to eat or roll in, Sofy stayed on lead:
Wiggle, looking handsome in the autumn sunshine:
No time to hang around, he was off again:
Sofy found a muddy puddle to splash in:
But then she spotted a pheasant - and was VERY excited!
The end of our walk - Wiggle and 'his' halt:

Now we're into autumn, our walks this week have mostly been in the dark each morning and evening so this morning, we were very happy to have sunshine so went across to the field:
After heavy rain over the last few days, it was very wet in places but Wiggle and Sofy didn't care and were happy to run around:
Wiggle chose to follow the muddy path:
And kept going, running on ahead:
Sofy didn't want to get left behind, so set off to catch up with Wiggle:

This afternoon we went up to the Downs for a walk, making the most of the dry, mild, autumnal day. Wiggle was giving me "the look", letting me know his plans:
Sofy couldn't keep up as Wiggle pounced for the ball:
Bringing the ball back:
And then running off with it again!
Sofy increased her pace and soon got the ball:
But next throw, Wiggle was quickest:
Once Wiggle was starting to get tired, he kept hold of the ball, not letting me throw it, his sign that he's had enough:
Two tired Labbies:
Wiggle was leading the way, back to the car...
Today is a special day - it's LucytheLab's 11th birthday! Wiggle loves his Lucy and is looking forward to hearing about her birthday treat - a trip to Dicks Drive In's for nommy cheeseburger and fries!
Happy Birthday Lucy!

Yesterday evening Wiggle went to the vet for his annual vaccination booster and check-up.
Wiggle loves going to see the vet and was wagging enthusiastically:
Wiggle also likes seeing the receptionist, with her handy treat container:
Wiggle was so excited, bouncing up and down that he nearly jumped over the counter, but settled on watching the treats:
"I'm boinging! I'm wiggling! Can I get any more?!"

It's definitely feeling like autumn now, with the light fading fast in the evenings but tonight we managed to get into the field for our walk while it was still light. Wiggle and Sofy were sniffing around:
There were ball games:
And running through the long wet grass makes Wiggle a little soggy!
